Question

It seems to me there was a guy on here fairly recently posting some similar amazing 346 numbers. BUT they ended up being b.s. due to a unnecessarily high correction factor. IIRC his setup included TFS 215cc heads and he was pimping them pretty hard. No offense to Vengeance but answer the damn correction factor question. Some temperatures, atmospheric conditions and elevation would be nice too.

239/242 on the camshaft guys..... As I said before, its nothing special

Heads are 215cc heads that were "cleaned up" by us.. I would be willing to bet we could use box stock heads and make with 10 to 15rwhp of this setup.

As for the correction factor, it was 1.00 or 1.01.. Ill have to check to verify... The graph is legit. Our customer stood here while we made the pull, along with several other on lookers... We have no reason to inflate #s if we cant duplicate them......

If someone wants to step up to the plate Im quite confident we can make the same power out of a different vehicle. This is simply a well put together package.

BTW, thanx for all of the positive comments.

what do you think a set of 225's(cleaned up) on a 402ci w/a tsp giant cam and kooks 1 7/8 would do?

Ditto on the driver mod!! Thanks Ron!! I'll tell you guys something, this car is a beast and the Nittos are not doing the job. Remember I still have the stock 10-bolt and don't want to break it and spend $2500 on a 12-bolt before Christmas. Best mph on shitty Atlanta track w/wimpy a** launch is 121 mph full weight 3650 lbs w/me in it on a hot day 90 degrees plus in Atlanta w/elevation 1000' above sea level. Everyone knows that cutting your 60' time down significantly improves ET in the quarter. When your getting 2.3 to 2.4 60' times spinning the tires in second and third gear in a beast you run low 12's hence driver mod. I'll be happy to launch at 5500 + rpm's when I get 12-bolt, slicks and other suspension mods, cut 1.6's on a real track and bring it into the 11's on motor as it should be. Example: old car set up before the move to Atlanta from Houston at Houston raceway park (a real track) w/Nitto's/4.10's and SLP lid only ran 12.67 consistently in cold weather. I guess I'll have to bring the beast back to the old stomping grounds in Houston (where there is a real track) at 0 elevation and see what she'll do.

Its funny to how many excuses one can make when a car is slow.

The car only trapped 121mph with that much power? How is that possible. I see cars all day long making high 400's trapping 125+.

Commerce(where I'm assuming it was raced) is a pretty crappy track for times. It's the slowest track on the NHRA circuit I believe.
