Default FS - F1C Procharger Kit, SDCE, huge intercooler- PRICE DROP! - Chicago

Category: Engine - Power Adders

Location (State): IL
Item Condition: Used
Engine: LS2/LS3/LS7/L92/LS9, LS1/LS6
LS Engine?: Non-LS Part

SOLD
Price has been dropped to $5500! Cost me half that just to have the blower rebuilt..First one with the $$ gets it.

F1C head unit was returned to me from Procharger on March 22 2010. it was rebuilt using all new parts in it except for the outer casing. It is basically a brand new blower. Nothing on it is used except for the outer casing. It broke on me first trip at the track, with less than 500 miles. Normally these things last for a real long time, but I guess I had a factory dud. No worrys though, Procharger took care of me, with receipts to prove it has just went through. I can even give the serial number to anyone who is interested and they can call Procharger and ask about the history of the blower. I was using this blower for a custom kit. Used SDCE's belt tensioner system without any belt slip. Got a max of 18.5psi of boost on a 402, enough to make 802rwhp and 900+ torque on a Mustang dyno.
The kit uses a large front mount intercooler using a real core, not a Ebay brand core. It is very efficiant. All the piping is 4", and it comes with a Vortech Mondo bypass valve. I had them mount right after the blower, and before the intercooler, so that way the air gets bypassed as soon as possible and doesn't heat soak the intercooler. As a side note, placing the bypass valve here makes it REAL loud, so just pointing that out as it will make the car a real head turner.(not sure if you like that type of thing or not, I did)
I will include all t-bolt clamps, real silicone couplers, and mark where they go. Intercooler has less than 500 miles of use.
The SDCE tensioner comes with a brand new tensioner. The previous one was starting to feel a little weak, so I replaced it with a new one. It feels rock solid. The J bracket is the original Procharger Aluminum one.

Looking to get $6000 plus shipping for this. I will consider reasonable offers but please no low ballers. There is a lot of money and time in this kit, and it will be a brand new head unit. Quite a bargain if you consider if you were to price it out from some the retailers on here that use their " ebay front mount intercooler kits" it would come out to over $7400 and that wouldn't include the SDCE tensioner.
Please feel free to ask any questions. about the Item.
Edit: Forgot to mention it also comes with the 4" tight bend aluminum pipe that was made for me to fit in the cramped space behind the radiator. It goes from the blower inlet, to the bumper and uses the very large air filter seen the pictures below.

Edit: Pictures of blower!

Lose the foglights on a TA? Trying to guess how much work would be involved to route that pipe to a different intake, as cutting the cowl isnt happening just yet Nice looking kit! Will it work with stock radiator and fans?

I lost the fog lights on my car..seems like most front mount intercooler kits loose the foglights, as far as I know.

how much work would be involved to route that pipe to a different intake
It shouldn't be too much work at all for a fabricator. Just a little cutting and welding would be enough.

So I have updated the listing..I will consider trades for a clean Trans Am or a clean roller Trans Am. Not realy looking for another all out race car. I already have one of those that I am trying to give away lol. As much fun as they are, I am looking for something a little more practical.

Yeah, I would be interested in knowing that as well. Didn't think you were interested in selling just the I/C set up. I would be interested in that along with the intake set-up.

Guys I have $2400 into the intercooler setup . That's not including the vortech mondo bypass valve or the 4" aluminum blower inlet and filter. People have been making lowball offers for the intercooler setup an try to compare the pricing to EPPs front mount. I don't want to put down a sponsors product..butmy front mount intercooler uses better parts in it. A real intercooler core and not a $200 ebay intercooler. All aluminum 4" piping. We all know how much 4" aluminum bends cost..
What would be reasonable to ask for the front mount setup?

I don't know but if you come up with a 'reasonable' price it might be sold.
Which core from Procharger is it? Do you know a HP rating?

I dont know the HP rating..but probably a lot more than a F1C can put out. Its a huge core..

I have decided to not split the kit apart. I will lower the price for everything to $6000. Can't get any lower than that. Anyone interested let me know.
