May work with ported 243s on a 383, stock 243s are going to be a restriction for that cam, also dont forget the intake and tbody are going to be bigger also.

What sort of power did the cam make in the 383?
How was the drive ability?
Where the the hp & tq peak?

My 383 LS1 with TEA S 2.5 heads currently has a little 229/229 cam.

I was told it made just over 460 to the tire with a fast 92 intake. I have not ran the cam i got it on trade.
