For what it is worth, I had 'burgers' put together a complete long block for me. It hasn't arrived yet but I can't say enough good things about him already. He spent TONS of time with me on the phone talking through options and making recommendations. He threw in free stuff, passed several things on at cost, gave me advice how to find other things cheap, and just took care of me. Fact is, he just loves the car hobby and enjoys helping people. 'Burgers' is a real gentleman and I made a new friend.

Okay, this story is phenomenal and worth sharing. I have so much respect for Burgers and can't say enough good things. Here is the rest of the story...
My engine arrived and when I got it home I saw the shipping company had rolled it over and damaged it. Now this isn't even Burgers' problem but he asked me to send photos and helped me figure out what to put in the claim. He had purchased insurance at his cost and I didn't even know it. The next thing I know, Burgers has already submitted a claim for me to insurance. I spend a couple days getting the run around from insurance when I get a call from Burgers asking how is progress? Not so good, I say. The next morning I get another call from Burgers and he tells me insurance has settled with him and he's building me a new engine at his expense. I can tell you folks, the payout was less than the amount I paid him the first time. Then he tells me he'll be at my house tomorrow because he's picking up the engine so there is no more shipping problems. People.... he's in Kansas and I'm in Illinois! This is not a trip to the other end of town!
Meanwhile, he's busy at work getting new parts for my engine build. He's not re-using anything that was damaged whether it was okay or not. It's unbelieveable.... the next engine was better than the first! It was a brand new block and brand new heads! Then he brings the engine back to me in person (no shipping companies) and doesn't ask for a thing in return.
And that's the rest of the story! This could have been a nightmare experience for me. Burgers went way out of his way to help me and I am so happy with my engine! On a scale of 1 to 10, Burgers earns a 100!!!!
