Default BoostnTBSS = Bad BUYER

Here are the facts:
He PM’s me last night about the LS6 cam I had for sale. He asked me to do $150 shipped.
I reply, I can do $160.00 shipped

Time goes by….

Another guy PM’s me saying he would do $160.00 shipped.
I say SOLD, he paypalled me the money and I update my for sale thread that the cam was sold

At 10:28 AM this morning BoostnTBSS pm’s me telling me that he will take the cam for $160 shipped and went ahead and sent the payment.

I refund his payment through paypal and I send him a PM telling him the cam was sold last night.

And in his eyes “I’m the bad seller cause I backed out” and get negative feedback from this idiot.

My question: How did I back out of a deal whenever we did not have an official agreement until 10:28am today???….oh wait, the cam was sold by then
Ahhh sorry bout your luck BoostnTBSS

You did your part; you refunded his money. As Mr. Yelo said... money talks. Don't worry about it, a mod can probably help in removing said negative feedback. Still sorry you're going through it.

doesn't sound like a bad buyer, he did pay you even though he was late. The negative feedback was uncalled for for sure though.

a buyer that throw's a hissy fit because he missed out on something he wanted, and then blames it on the seller, is a bad buyer IMO....and I say SELLER BEWARE

Yea - I buy and sell alot of stuff on this site and to get negative feedback to no reason at all is a bunch of BS

Sure he didn't let you know he sold it. But why does that even matter when he refunded you the money? Don't get mad cause you missed out, it happens.

Well, first he offers you less than what you're asking, then you get an offer for what you're asking for and you take it. I believe that's called selling to the highest bidder. It's business.

On a personal note, I am kicking myself for not seeing this cam myself first!

Thats your problem. Not mine. And you never said that you would Paypal me in the morning. I stated the facts in the first post.

So you think I should have PM'd the other 15 people that inquired about the cam to let them know it was sold??....Yea ok...I'll get right on that

Plus If you would have checked my thread since it was 15 hours later before you got back to me, you would have seen that the cam was sold.

ususally when someone is trying to sell a item at a already good deal I dont try to low ball the meven further to try to negotiate because I know somoene will come along with the full amount. I always just send them a PM saying SOLD give me your paypal info, then I know i got it

ive had the same issues when selling, i sold a set of heads that were 1700 new and i was only asking 1100 while they were still new and never used and still had people offering up 1000 shipped and 900 shipped, I didnt even bother with replying.

The Seller Did nothing wrong... its first to send money gets the deal.

On the other hand... to BoostnTBSS Its always a good idea to Pm the seller to double check that it didn't get sold already. Thankfully you got your money refunded.

I hope the mods can help out 30th with the negative feedback- that was unnecessary IMHO.

Good Luck to Both of ya
