Default SOLD Nice chrome strut tower bar 93-02 F body

Category: Steering & Suspension
Price: $75
Part Fits: 93-02 Chevrolet Camaro, 93-02 Pontiac Firebird
Location (State): WI
Item Condition: Used
Shipping Information: Item Can be Shipped
Engine: LS1/LS6, LT1/LT4
LS Engine?: Fits LS Engine

Very nice chrome 2 point strut tower bar fits 93-02 Camaro/firebird/trans am. Anyone with a lot of bling in the engine, this is perfect for you

It was originally a 3 point bar, so there are 2 marks on the back that are rusted. You don't see them when the bar is installed at all, but I'm sure they would look much better if they were cleaned up with a wire wheel or grinded down. I don't have the time anymore.

Asking $75 shipped to your door, OBO!

Not to knock you or anything but, you can get most 2 point Stb for around 30 or less used and this one is cut and rusted?

Send me a link to ANYONE selling a STB for 30 bucks. Rusted? The bar looks perfect when it's installed, and the rust on the back will come off with a wire wheel lol... alright I'll just wire wheel the rust myself and take another pic to prove it.

Other STB's are $75-$210 + shipping, and powder coated. This one is chrome dipped, which isn't cheap, and I haven't seen anyone or any store for that matter that sells chrome STB's. The price is OBO, and shipped as well, with shipping being around 20 bucks.

Thanks

If it didn't have the rust spots on it, I'd be all over it, maybe not for 75 though, since you can get a new powdercoated BMR one for $80. The chrome would really go well with my underhood accessories. Although they wouldn't be seen as you have said, I'm just really picky about stuff like that since I take it to a lot of shows.

I'm tempted to grind down the back and hit the 2 spots with a coat or two of chrome paint to blend it.

Like I said the price is OBO, I'd take 50 bucks for it if someone wants it. I just haven't seen a chrome STB for sale anywhere so I figured someone would want one. 50 bucks is peanuts.

If you blend it and it looks ok I may take it, do you know if it will clear a set of frcs without any problems?

Nope, those are going in my car as soon as I can either find some aftermarket brackets or fab up my own Sweet eh? They are similar to the ones in the 6LE writeup, but these have a suede insert in the middle.. love it.

This is the only chrome one I've seen, good price too, easy to clean up, if I had the extra cash I'd be all over it GLWS!

THANK YOU! I know the 2 spots on the back are a put-off, but with how easy they clean up it's nothing. I have never seen a chrome stb and for someone who wants to match the bling in their engine 75 bucks shipped is nothing. I'm gonna get it cleaned up tonight.

Ok bud that's great for you, you're talking about a different bar entirely. So if all you want to do is put in your worthless .02 cents, please do it in someone elses thread. Several guys have shown interest and sale is pending.

FYI---It would cost about $125-$150 just to have one chromed....not counting the cost of the STB and having it shipped 3 times (to you the first time, to the chrome shop, and then back to you.) $75 is a deal on it.

It pisses me off when someone knocks the price somebody else is selling their stuff for without even an intention of buying it. PM him an offer if in your OPINION his asking price is too high but you are interested in in actually BUYING IT...
