Polluter V2 cam w/ PRC 243's 1/4 mile results
Figured I would post up my results with the Polluter V2 in a Ls1.
When I was trying to decide on a cam to fire in there I found many many dyno results for this cam but could not find a single 1/4 mile pass / result in a Ls1. So I decided on this cam and just go with the flow lol.
Due to fluid starvation I was bumping the limiter on the 1-2 and the 2-3 shift. The issue did not arise until I hit the track due to being able to leave the line a lot more violent then you can on the street so the fluid was just plastered to the back of the pan lol.
I will be heading back hopefully this Saturday and I will hopefully gain a couple tenths and a couple mph, one tenth and one mph for each limiter bump. So maybe 11.1 @ 124mph....
It did trap 122 a couple passes.
Details:
- Polluter V2 239/244 .635"/.610" 112+3
- PRC 243's milled.030"
- MSD Air Force intake / Fast 102 tb
- Yank PT 4000
- 7,000 rpm shift points
- 100% stock suspension

And I do have MWC sub frame connectors which do have some weight to them.
The rears are 17 × 9.5 c5 polished aluminum dd with the Hoosier Dr2 radial.

Spun it to 6,700 and that's where it made 396 whp.
My buddy with a similar setup as me but with a SNS stage 3 cam 235/243 put down 356 whp right before me so I'm not going to read to much into that dyno.
He ran 11.3@118 mph

Ya, I agree. Before this I had a bunch of new nitrous stuff but sold that and went the h/c rout. Wish I still had that nitrous stuff here I would just stick a line in somewhere with a 50hp jet and open the bottle lol.

I have1 3/4 pace setter Lt's going to a Texas speed ory with a electric cutout right in the merger.
Do you guys think it would be worth it to switch to 1 7/8 Lt's ?

My buddy made the switch on his stalled auto HCI LS1 and gained exactly 5 rwhp on the same dyno about one week apart. Went from the SE 1 3/4" to the SE 1 7/8". Doesn't get more accurate than that for a comparison IMO

Sounds good, ya there are quite a few small things I need to change that I think will get me a 10 second slip.
( exhaust changes, air intake, maybe more converter now that I need it to be cut and cleaned anyways ect.)
Thanks, ya stock 98 bottom end.

Transmission totally let loose yesterday so with it hitting the limiter on the shifts at the track were just subtle hints lol.
O well, I would like just a bit more converter anyways.
Not a doubt in my mind I can get this thing to 10.8x @ 125 mph this spring with a few small changes.
