Hi guys, I've now got my vehicle running properly ( turns out the tuner forgot to disable the PRND range switch) that's why the throttle didn't work.

I now can't get the cruise control to work.
I've got

Pin B33 NC 12v Brake
Pin B35 NC 12v Clutch Position

TAC 4 Momentary 12v
TAC 5 Momentary 12v
TAC 6 Brake NO 12v
TAC 7 12v
TAC 14 Cruise on 12v

Can anyone shed any light on it?
The only thing that I could find was that the momentary switches are only pushing about 9v. I think this is because it's quite a long wire run of very small gauge that has to go through a rotary coupler into the steering wheel.

What are you using for a switch? Do you have brake lights? Or LED brake lights?

I've got normal 21w bulbs, 4 of them.

Which switch do you mean? the momentary switches are the standard Landrover Discovery 1 steering wheel mounted items.

Ok, are you sure the Landrover switches are just on/off switches? Is the On/Off switch for the cruise also in the wheel? And if so, is it a momentary type switch also?

The switches in the steering wheel are the + and - and are both momentary. The on/off switch is in the dashboard is press/press latch on type.

Where did you measure the 9v coming out of the switches?

At the TAC module, pins 4 and 5

Ok, cool, that's where you should be checking them. What brake switch are you using? GM or Landrover?

Landrover, they fit the pedals correctly. There are two. A 4 pin switch with two NO switches in it and one 2pin NC switch

Have you checked to make sure you're getting 12v at the TAC on pin 6 when the brakes are applied? Also, you can check to make sure you have 12v on the PCM plugs pins 33 and 35 (brakes not applied). I know you said you have them hooked up, but just to double check that they are working.

I checked them all minutes before starting this thread.

Strangely when I tried to backprobe pins 33 and 35 I got 12v regardless of pedal position but when I removed the connector from the PCM and probed directly into the socket, they functioned as they should. I can only assume that the back probes were contacting a 12v source

I've never back probed those wires while hooked to the PCM, so I cant say for sure if that is normal or not, but you needed to unhook them to test it so correctly, so since you did that and they seem to work, we'll assume they are fine. What about the 12v at the TAC plug pin 14, got a solid 12v there? Did you get 12v on the brake wire from the TAC on pin 6 when brakes are applied or are you only getting 9v there too?

I got 12v when brake pressed on pin 6, completely forgot to check pin 14. Back in a mo!

Yep, 12v on pin 14.

Are you sure all the landrover switches are normally open? Fords are normally closed, GM normally open.

Yes, those that need to be NC are NC and those that need to be NO are NO. I checked earlier. The clutch pedal position switch is NC12v and there are both NO and NC 12v brake switches.

What transmission are you running? Do you have a speed signal getting to the PCM?

I'm running the Landrover R380 at the moment. The VSS is wired to an ABS sensor. It's reading about 20% under true according to my scanner plugged into the OBD.
