Default 1998 M6 Vibration in 4th Gear

I've had a 1998 Z28 since 2005. It is a 6 speed with a SLP short throw shifter, a short throw stick and billet Z28 shift ball. The car has just under 100k. If I'm in 4th gear and over 2K RPM the shifter vibrates and gets worse as RPMs increase. It doesnt take much pressure to make it stop. Is there a chance it is the short throw shifter is worn out or does this sound like something more expensive? Before I buy a new short throw to see if it fixes the problem, does anybody here know for sure what the problem is? TIA

Get under the car and try moving the driveshaft to see if you have a worn U joint

Or a worn tailshaft bushing.

No play in the driveshaft. Again it is only in 4th gear. I've seen similar posts but none list the solution.

4th is direct drive. vibe here yells me that a vibe is a mount issue. Check for mushy mounts.
