Cylinder Head - Scratched Exahust Port On Header Install
Headers are in but one of the exhaust ports took the worse of it.

And suggestions on addressing this?

Fill scratches with JBWeld, smooth, and send...

If it’s me, I’d try using RTV. Install the header while the RTV is wet and lightly tighten bolts. After RTV cures, do final tightening. JB weld is a better product, but that’s a tough area to work in and get the repair sanded smooth. A high spot puts you in the same position.

To add what the other posters mentioned about RTV, Permatex Ultra Copper works great in high heat areas such as this.
