Just looking for a quick yes or no doesnt even have to be a big debate. Found one for less than $300 shipped, emissions are required, I know it's a lot of work but I have seen people swear by it. I'd like to have a good lope but this won't do that but also had been looking at lpe but this could be a cheap alternative.
2000 firebird, t56, procharged. Seems all stock minus the tune and procharger. Have 317s I've been holding for once I decide on a cam so I can get proper springs, have a ls6 intake that would go at the same time. Will also be ordering LTs once this gets going so I can do one more tune and call it good for a while.
Part number on the cam is 12565308

I run a 5308 LS6 cam in my 5.3. I really like it, but as you said no lope, and I've bought a couple of them for $75 bucks...$300 is too much. If you want a little lope. I'd kick a little more cash and get the one you want.
