Default 95 Trans Am Torque Converter Cover

Hello, I was wondering if anyone knew the best place to find a torque converter cover for a 1995 Pontiac Firebird with a 4L60E. I found one on EBAY, but it was for 1993-94 Trans Am 4L60E cover. Would that one not fit? Thanks!

Are you referring to the torque converter dust cover? What engine is in the car? Does it have a one-piece case or a case with the removable bell housing?

Try fitzall part # K35803U for a one-piece case.

Yes, the torque converter dust cover. It has an LT1. I can see the torque converter exposed and im worried to get dust in there. I will check for the fitzall part.

Not to much worry about it getting dust or whatever in it unless you live on dirt road or travel them alot, As for covers as long as still has stock diameter flex plate you can use one from an V8 camaro, impala, caprice, or the 4.3 S10, S15 TRUCKS 93 TO 97 . You can also use one from 700r4 vehicles in camaros, firebirds and again 4.3 s10s from 85 up these had the k case UNITS . If however you are like me and have a 383 stroker and the 163 tooth flexplate your options are limited, MODIFY one from a 93 to 97 full size v8 4x4 truck (2wd will not work).
Me I gave up I could not get something that didn't look all cobbed up to work with the larger flex plate so just don't run one. But how often is an impala ss gonna be off road lol

I hardly ever ran one. I don't know if it is true or not, but in my mind running without the dust cover helped with cooling a little.

Actually a little trick I wanted to do with mine but could not find suitable cover. But Have done this , Make a hole in the cover at each side (solid covers only ) about 1-3/4 inch, can do same with bolt ons, It will move a huge amount if air through and yes I know it aids in cooling as the air coming out is HOT . Does however blow up a lot of dust if reving in dusty area,

In fact I almost forgot the old vega transmissions the th350 had no cooler, Instead they had a finned converter with air holes in case , I had forgotten those.
