Default Off setting wristpin bushing to extend rod length?

Is this a thing? Can I just ask my machine shop to extend my rod length .005 without sounding crazy?

You’ll have to re-bush the small end, and then offset bore it. It’s been done to death when blueprinting a set of 8 rods, in the world of Cup engines, but when your measuring everything out to the .0001, everything gets massaged a little. If your machinist has the tooling and time, it’s doable.
