Default V-band vs Vanjen clamps for intercooler piping??

What's the word on either of these clamps for intercooler piping?? I'm thinking over the winter I'll redo my piping to eliminate all the silicone couplers and get the pipe powder coated as well. I just got my compressor cover back from the coaters and damn does it look good! Just wondering what would work better?? I know the V-bands would be a more solid connection vs the vanjen. Does the piping need to have some flex in it or is it good to go solid?? I don't have a crazy amount of piping and figure I'd only need a couple of clamps, basically put clamps on the IN/OUT of the intercooler and my throttle body is an Icon 102mm with a 3" weld flange attachment.

Leave all your opinions here and pics of what you did if you got them! Thanks guys
This turned out better than I thought it would! Illusion Cherry

And this is the new pipe I fitted to go into the motor. The weld flange will go on the bare section

What the Boost Lab says about the Van Gen couplings...

Vanjen Clamping System

The VanJen Clamping System is the latest in flexible, banded clamp connector solutions from Vibrant Performance.Constructed entirely from T6061 aluminum, and featuring a unique Quick Release clamping mechanism, the Vibrant VanJen Clamp provides a leak-free, modular connection that is ideal for pressurized air applications. Capable of withstanding up to 110 psi. operating pressure and temperatures up to 400 deg. F, the VanJen Clamp System is ideal for turbo intake plumbing. The VanJen Clamp System consists of 2 weld fittings (with O-Rings), one union sleeve, a safety pin and a spring loaded clamp assembly designed specifically for automotive use. Once the fittings are welded to the tubing, the union sleeve houses the fittings and is held in place by the clamp assembly. Once assembled, the VanJen Clamp System provides a flexible connection that can withstand vibration, movements along its axis, lateral misalignment and angular deflection (up to 12 deg.).Fittings, Union Sleeves and Clamps can also be purchased as separate components.

Personally, I have no issues with hi Q split flange connections.
