Reproduction oem style wheel proposal
Similar to our popular line of 17x9 Third Generation F-Body wheels we are looking to produce a similar lineup of wheels for the Fourth Generation cars.
The wheels up for discussion are
- 1993 - 1997 Camaro Wheel (Silver OE style finish)
- 1998 - 2002 Camaro 5-Spoke Wheel (Silver, Black and Chrome finish)
- 1994 - 2000 Trans Am Wheel (Silver and Chrome as well as possibly including a black for the CETA cars)
- 2001 - 2002 Trans Am Wheel (Polished or a Chrome finish)
If we were to produce these what sizing would you prefer to see made?
- 18x10 or 18x10.5 Front and Rear - This setup would potentially keep costs down and make for a nice street setup. Recommended tire sizes for this setup would probably be something like a 285/35/18 or a 295/30/18.
- 18x9.5 Front 18x11 Rear - This setup would be similar to the popular OEM Replica wheels currently available for the cars but in a larger 18 inch diameter. Recommended tire sizes would probably be something like a 275/35/18 up front and a 315/30/18 in the rear.
Below are some images of the wheels I'm talking about.
1993-1997 Camaro 5 Spoke Wheel
1998-2002 Camaro 5-Spoke Wheel
1994-2000 Trans Am Wheel (As well as CETA in black)
2001-2002 Trans Am 5-Spoke Wheel (Could be in an OE style polished wheel or Chrome)
As a bonus we are also looking into reproducing the 17x9 Firehawk wheels in silver and chrome.
We would love to get your feedback and suggestions on this project. Feel free to reply and let us know what you think and what you'd hope to see with a project like this!
now my only suggestion could also be a 18x10.5 my brother has some weld lagunas with a 315 30 18 rear and 295 35 18 front , one day he tried the rears on the front and they fit perfect . so if you do your research a 18x10.5 should be able to run a 315 30 18 front and back
I don't think there would be much market for the 1993-'96 "salad shooter" Camaro wheel. It wasn't the best design IMO, and I can't say that I've ever heard anyone interested in a larger diameter version of this wheel. But the other options would all be excellent choices.

Agree with the above on the salad shooters unless you are restoring one thats not one I've ever had any interest from buyers in when I tried to sell them here and there as I have come across them through the years.
18x9 version of 1994-2000 Trans Am Wheel in chrome would be cool too.
I guess 18x10s should be fine too, I do not want a staggered setup.
