Default Built th400 and accessories for sale

Not sure what is in it exactly for parts. I bought it from my buddy Vince (posts as 'Spray' on here if you want to ask him any questions) and he ran it in his old 383 LT1 setup that was a solid 9.0 car. It's definitly got good parts though. I got it and had it freshened by Joel's on Joy (top notch local tranny shop) because it had been sitting for over a year and I've yet to have a single problem with it with around 30 passes on it now. It hasn't missed a beat on any pass and it's been as fast as 9.0 at 157 at 3450 lbs with my combo and 9.0 160 in Vince's car at around 3300 lbs. Has since gone 8.781 at 161 without missing a beat.

I will include a b/m pro ratchet shifter and cable (very nice piece very easy for street driving ie downshifting and a breeze when going down the track). Can't skip a gear with the ratchet styles ones like you can with the gate shifters.

I will also include an SFI shield that fits over top of the tranny as well as the chromoly driveshaft that should work for any 4th gen fbody (has 1350 spicer u-joints yadda yadda).

Looking for $2k for everything or best offer.

Emails to LTLHOMER@aol.com or pm me on here.

If tranny sells I will. I'd let it go for $250 + ship it's a real nice piece.

I hear ya man.. Who you going with for the glide? I'd love one... but the 2 speed will hate the street even more than the Th400.

Probably same guy that rebuilt my th400. Local guy really good and great prices. I don't street mine much anymore but the th400 was nice for that!

Nothing to see just a standard looking th400. It's still in the car right now but I can have it out in at an hour's notice so it's no biggie. I will try to find some pics of it but I don't think I have any. I'll find a pic of the shifter one sec. And yes, transbrake that was also redone by Joel's on Joy and he went through the valvebody as well. It's a stout piece never had any problems.

I am using a neal chance converter.

Like 4500 or so it seems...I dunno I can never leave on as much boost as it would make and the more boost means more torque which means more stall speed.

I just told him the spec's of the motor and he did the rest...on the street it behaves like a stock stall which is the crazy part. If I just punch it from a 5 mph roll, it only flashes to like 2500 tops probably less. And then things get crazy.

Would you think about including the stall for the right price?

You are better off getting one made exactly for your combo anyways...money in the converter is the best money spent...it can make or break a car no doubt about it...but yes you should buy my tranny it will bring you good luck!
