yeah i have a set of patriot 5.3 heads that have been milled .010. They have everything but valve springs, They are charley/CAT3 on ls1tech old heads and he ran 11.6 with ls6 intake and stock tb and a 231/237 cam . I want center mount tips and valence bad! I had a deal with user gunit but i cant get in touch with him So let me know

I hadn't begun to look into heads really yet so my knowledge is not where it should be on these.

Can you tell me what effect these would have on compression on a stock 00' LS1????

FWIW, I may opt for either the CheaTr cam or 228/232 588/595 110+2. Or close. I'd think these heads might be good match.

 

He told me he was at 11.1:1 with 231/237 cam and stock head gasket

what mph did your friend get when he went 11.6?

 

I have the same heads unmilled and went 11.2 @120 a few years ago. With some more work on that old setup it would have gone 10's on the motor.

 

Bump! Have and a ton of people wanting them but cantget in touch with them going to cost me som good money to get these shipped right!
