How much improvement do you think an LS6 intake would make on this set up?

old post, but i wanted to address it.

4.8 liters pumps 1x displacement for each full rotation.

with a VE of 100 N/A with a set of heads, the engine pumps Y LBS/MIN of air at X rpms.

if you have a target lbs/minute goal, the only way to get more air is to spin it higher, or VE.

so, that turbo at his boost 2.632 pressure ratio, the reported rwhp is 747 rwhp. that tells me the engine is in the 76 percent efficiency envelope. the heads and displacement limit the turbo's power.

he can spin it much higher, increase the pressure ratio, improve the VE, or add timing

he is already spinning it 7000 rpms.

IMO his numbers are pretty good considering the limitations. his power is not low to me.

5.3 ever make it in this chassis? 4.8 ended up in mine! lol. 8.80's at 158 so far. Pretty underrated motors IMO.
