What are reasonable expectations?

No it’s not unreasonable at all if you mean bottom nines as a high nine. The key to any N/A car is the 60’ time. You will have a lot of trial and error getting this right. But the correct springs, shocks, tire, etc. is crucial especially with a M6. Definitely go bias ply with the tire. Also if your main goal is 9s I would be open to a gear change once you start testing. It’s highly unlikely that you’re going to crack nines your first time to the track. It’s going to be a learning curve.

If you want to make the most of your 600whp, what happens inside the bellhousing will be a critical piece of the puzzle. Here's a webpage I put together to help explain how inertia and clutch engagement affect different parts of the run... https://grannys.tripod.com/clutchtuning.html

Running 9s is not entirely easy. Expect there to be a trial and error period getting everything to mesh and put down power efficiently and well. A 9.99 at 135mph with a 3300 pound vehicle weight will generally require 570 wheel horsepower with a clean sticky launch and smooth power the whole way down the track. A 9.0 at 150mph takes a minimum of 800hp. That's just math.
