there were 2 people in my local car club that broke 12 bolts: IN THE SAME WEEK.......
with that said...... I went with a 9"

Both cars were 6 speeds (one a 422 LS1, and the other being a 396 LT1)

yeah i know both those guys as well... one had broken multiple 12 bolts.... Is there any other rearend besides the 9??????

Moser 9" here.... backbrace, nodular case, billet pinion support... 35 spline axles, detroit locker.... ain't had a problem since DAY ONE.....

Launch with confidence that your 9" will be around a long time....

I'm running a Moser 12-bolt, 33 spline axles and an eaton posi, and so far so good. If the posi goes i'll get a spool, but so far she's held to 1.32 60'!

I've 60 ft 1.26 A few times and a **** load of low 1.30 on a 12 bolt with a auto in a 3300 pound car.Im going to push it hard this year with the new 408 solid roller setup.I think it has alot to due with how the rearend is setup.

Cool deal! I've got a spool, 33 spline axles, and a solid collar in mine so I don't think i'm going to have any problems but we'll see!
