Is Harlan the only guy in the 8's with a stock cube motor?

for now he's the only 346 i've heard of in the 8s.... i'm sure there will be a few more before to long. that is one of my goals with my new setup actually. 8.99999999 with 347 ci

 

Nos or turbo?

 

nitrous for this setup. 12.67:1 nitrous motor. for my next build after this one is running i'll start building a 396ci turbo motor and start accumulating parts for a kit. maybe a 88/98 single setup

 

What was Harlan's best, 8.47? What MPH was he at?

 

He went 8.2 with his stock cube + twin turbo setup.

I plan to join this elite fraternity this summer.

 

Me too John... car's been sitting being modified for over 2 years getting ready to pull it off..... half because of my finances and half because running 8's safely is UNGODLY expensive...... seems like i buy 3 parts to get me closer to finishing and i find out about 6 more parts i gotta buy...

 

Kevin from stenod (same shop as harlan) ran an 8.55 on stock cubes I do beleve.

By the way, Harlan did that with the stock crank!

 

Yea turbos come in nice and easy on the crank.Now take nitrous and wack it off the line its hard on a crank.Just like a auto vs manual.
