That run was at the Thunder event a few years ago. I had a ARE 393 all bore engine, and I think close to a 200 shot, NOS direct port. T400, 12 bolt with eaton posi. ET drag, I think that was a 28x10, on a Convo Pro.

I ran a 10 flat run after run, and finally after adjusting the front shocks from full soft, to 3 or 4 clicks firmer, I dropped a full tenth. So, the suspension was unloading after the wheelie. The 60 was a 1.41.

I turned it a few clicks stiffer again, and on the next run, the quick 16, I faced up with Derty, and he got a personal best, but I blew up the rear as the posi took a ****. That was Stenod yelling out at the end of the run, because I finally got a 9 sec run after trying all day.

I was running a stock sway bar, and you can see the torque twist on the car at launch, The rear might have lasted a little longer. I actually blew the tranny when the rear blew (it followed it's way up), and the next year I blew the engine.

So, the setup is different now, and I have yet to spray the new motor, until Wheel 2 Wheel gets the tune right. Should be easy 9's on the spray. Runs 11.00 on motor right now, @ 3500 raceweight. It's a street car, so I have the heavy *** TA seats in there, for comfort, the Kirkeys are in the barn waiting to go in, & there are a few other areas where I can loose some weights. Health issues keep me from doing too much, at the moment.

Thanks John. I'll be recovering until Spring. DOnt have any plans to spray the car, but ya never know. I plan on running @ the M-11 event @ Stanton. Just NA for now, and hoping for a 10 sec run on motor, with the nitrous setup.

Thanks KP.

New setup is a Wheel 2 Wheel 402 set up for spray. Iron block. Should be easy 9's on the spray.

Congrats on the 10.8x run man! I sure hope I'm about as fast next year. Sorry I didn't get to talk much, but you looked busy
It was beautiful how that front lifted during your launch!
