First time out in 2006 Check out this video that Andre made for me...

The motor is an Auto Worx LS2 427 with ETP LS7 heads at 11.4:1 compression, electric water pump and an Armstrong Race Engineering dry sump. The gear is a stock Z06 3:42 with a stock drive line other than a stock tranny that my friend Marty built up for me with better parts and a shift kit. The converter has a 3500 stall that is a compromise between n/a and nitrous uses. Line lock and a good 6 point roll cage completes the deal.
All in all pretty easy set up, built motor and tranny with good tires and tuning.

Ya it is a C5, the link is working now. I am going out again this weekend with some warmer bottles and I am putting in a standalone fuel system so that I can put some more squeeze through her...I'll be looking for a mid to low nine outta her.
PS...here is the link again... does this earn me a '9 second club' title under my name?
