since you guys are running a helluva lot faster then me some one care to give me tips on launching because that seems to be my biggest problem i cant get out of the hole for **** ....

Verdad Gallardo well i usually leave at 7800-8200 at the strip but best bet is to start lower since I assume yours is pretty stock... I would start at 3200 and if it hooks fo up to 3700 hooks go to 4200 and keep working up

umm i have a shiner stage 2 TB , Jett Hot LT'S , TD's ,wisper lid , G5X2 cam , line lock ,pro5.0 with lues short stick ,fast toys ram air , and a few othere various supsenion mods ... does that count as being stock 
...im just waiting on heads to finish up this year was my first time at the track and i launced at 2300 which got me my 12 sec .pass my problem is i just cant drive at least not at the track

to you and the othere guys running in the singles probly im sorry im a broke college kid who cant afford to up his cid ... but if i start out launch at around 3200 with my current setup you think i should make a pretty good time ...enough to break into the 11's

I used my dr's for most of my track runs!12.28 is my best in street tires and 11.69 is best on dr's so it makes a big difference! im finally stepping up to slicks and gettin grid of DR's on rims!

i have nitto's on the back and 75% of the people on this site that is a pretty bold statement ..... i only went to the track once this past year i guess i just need to go more often and learn how to drive... oh yeah pay no attention to ppl like superz ppl like that are usually just jealous ******* and if he askes why would be jeaouls to this reply i would go ahead and tell him because a 17yr obviously got an LS1 before he did

Your best bet in launching the car would be to slip the clutch quickly and not just dump it! I couldn't never hook my car on the 10-bolt and nittos so I put a 9", almost full suspension, and a set of e.t. streets. Now I just do a burnout, stage, and drop the clutch pretty high! I am glad to see that there are other younger guys on this site with quick cars!
