Single Digit Club Running 9s or quicker? Damn!

Default hello all.. 9 second member here.

i currently run 2 cars in to the 9's

one is a 66 chevy II with a typical old school sbc. 427 cubes 15:1 compression... rons flying toilet injection on it...

backed by a glide, backhalfed ladder bar suspension and pretty much stripped out..
9.71 best time i've gotten out of it.. one of the ONLY time's i've ran it in the full 1/4.... we mostly do 1/8th mile bracket racing


the other is a 1149rwhp stock suspension mustang. yet to get it to a 1/4 mile track (except for the SantaClause shootout that all the ls2 ppl were at) but the lights were cut off and santa clause was flagging off. however i've got slips on it with 5.8 in the 1/8th mile at 125mph..

the mustang is powered by a 331 sbf with a 91.5mm turbo hung off the front of it.. backed by a glide and a set of highway gears it's pretty wild.

with that turbo your going to pick up alot of MPH in the back halve of the track

how bad are the 60ft because with that rwhp it should be at least 5.20's at 140 seems awful slow for the claimed hp

2.2 - 3.0 60s.. car needs a LOT of time dialing it in..

only adjustment to boost we have is a adj wastegate.. need an elec controller or something ...

can launch on low boost and cut 1.6's all day long but with the boost turned down so low we only run 6.30's in the 1/8 at around 118.. 8-12 psi

car needs a LOT of work..

also the 1149rwhp was made with 38lb of boost.. no way we've run that much since we've dynoed it.. all we've done is keep on turning it back down so we can hook and get down the track without WRECKING... which we've done 2 times so far..

i also own a dodge viper.. (for sale.. see classifieds)
a couple of 65 mustangs.. one is an 11 second ride... restoring one for my wife ... and have a few spares..
05 mustang.. stock
in the works i have a 62 pro mod door slammer car.. bbc sporting a few fogger kits on a 7/8 scale fiberglass body... should be good to mid to low 4's in the 1/8th..
