Default 8 sec?

I am building a 427 lxs smallblock motor with forged pistons for nitrous. I plan on going with a 224/227 cam on a 114 lsa @ .588 lift. If I use 2 stages of 300 shot in a wet form, can anyone estimate the power I would roughly make?this is through a 4l80e with a 3200 nitrous converter vigilante

Are ytou saying 600 total or 300 total shot?

600 is alot to ask for form the poor 4 bolt head, you should go check the nitrous section, only a few are running 300+ and all of them are nitrous specific race cars.

True dat. You will lift the heads right off the motor. You will have to make 700+ with a decently light car to run 8's.........300 by itself is alot and you will have to have a pretty stout motor to make up the rest.

umm, it will be hard pressed to see that combination go 8's. Pretty small cam even though you are doping the motor so much.

I hope your heads stay attatched too. Hope that 4L60E stays together too!

guys I am getting the heads with the extra 2 bolts per cylinder, thus the essence of the lsx block and not another

I guess I can't read well. Wasn't the question how much h.p. this combo would make with a 600 shot? That's two 300 shots Houston. I've been here for a week but I also would urge you to read the Nitrous section and talk to your local speed shop. I don't think the life of your engine will allow you to pull too many dyno runs. If it would hold together axles and the tranny go next in my eyes. Good Luck!

most well built engines will start pressuring the coolant at a 200 shot. 200+ you need 1/2" or 7/16 L19's (need evans coolant) anything over 300 on a lsx is uncharted territoty and i hope you have nitrous specific pistons, rings, 9/16 head studs, orings, and a .750+ deck. you are shocking the cylinders with the increase of cylinder pressure.

You are trying to do what 500+ci BBC's do on two or 3 stages.

You better have a damn Good th400 or 4l80 and new axle to take the power.
