There are a few supercharged single digit cars, couple 347s, not sure of any 402/408s. I ran 9.90s @ 3400lbs with ~550rwhp (TH400/8" converter) so it doesnt take much if the car is set up for going down a dragstrip.

I have a 408/D1SC setup, I haven't run in the 9's yet but have run some decent MPH for a soft launch (135). My race weight is up there too, 3900 lbs. I plan to lighten the car a little and try to crack a 9.99.

I got a lil 347 w/ a d1 and goin mid 9s thus far in warm temps... Should have no problem knockin off a couple tenths by the shootout/ cooler weather...

Im buildin a 402 but with a turbo/ thought about a big procharger, but i feel turbo is the way to go...

With setups identical to kp and myself - a 408 and a d1sc should see low 9s/ high 8s in good weather...

d1/t trim and a decent flowing ls1 you should have no problems hitting 9s

I would think your motor is a little high on compression to be doing FI..I was thinking that Coby said it was around 12.1

it is 11.8 i believe....and i made this post before I had even seen his motor....I am now going to be doing nitrous due to compression and cash flow. I was thinking about the blower setup when i was going to have a motor built....so i have scratched that now
