How to keep the front end down without bars?
Also i hear people straping the front end down. To do this do i just weld a tab near the shock tower and get some ratchet straps?
If anyone has tried both please let me know your thoughts
thanks
Travel limiters made a big differance. The car will still wheelie on a real good track if I bring in the power too quick though. A combination of front end limiters and and bringing the power in at the right time seems to do the trick.
A few of my friends have recently installed some kinf of wheelie control box that pulls timing out when the fron end of the car goes too high. I forget who makes it off the top of my head though.

travel limiters how do these mount?
tks for the reply
what 60's can you cut on slicks
Check out madmans website for travel limiters. He makes a nice setup and I'm pretty sure there are pics of them installed on a car.
I've never had slicks on my car. On drag radials it goes 1.27-1.29.
You mount it up on the shock tower and the bottom part attached to the a arm.
The suspension is not strapped down and will still move up and down, but upward travel is limited by the length of the chain or cable.
A good range is to run between 2-4 inches of travel depending on how much the car tends to wheelie.
Madman and wolferacecraft both make kits for our cars.

1.36 60' with the rear tires just hanging them out there on radials. But on slicks I had the HALS 2 clicks from all the way +. On radials we dialed them all the way soft and hung the front end 100+ feet at about a foot off the ground. I do have limiters but they are just there just incase of a really good track surface. Went 9.07 @ 154 this pass.
