Yea no ****, When I get up at 4:00am to go to work I feel like I'm 60 years old.

Noyzee will your father buy me a new set of tires?

I'm 26 and have a 9 sec. car so I guess my dad bought mine too.

Hahaha, 25 with a 9.40 car and hoping to knock that down to low 9's/high 8's with the new setup, guess mine was bought for me too, I better go thank the 9 second car fairy! On a serious note, it's a lot of hard work to have a fast car, lots of trial, error, money, time, blood, sweat and tears have gone into making my car what it is today!!! That and a lot of good friends help as well and great advice from some awesome people on here that I don't really know in person cuz I live nowhere near them, but consider friends, Noyzee being one of them!

I couldn't have said it better myself.

BTW, I'm also hoping for somw low 9's this year. If I did happen to hit 8.999999 I'd probably jizz in my pants when I looked at the slip.

I was going to mention something to that effect. There are a few members here that should take great pride in my car hopefully putting up a # soon....mainly because LS1tech IS my local shop. I'll be sure to drink a few for each of you once I hit 9's.

Personally I think it's pretty cool that some of us guys are in their early to mid 20's and have managed to build cars like we have.

Are you guys going to Memphis? If so we should drink a few beers together, I'll have my dad pay for it.

Yeah dude, me too!!!! I know I got a lot of work ahead of me though, I gotta figure out how to get this car to stay down, before I hurt the motor I was playing with limiters and stuff for a couple months and couldn't get the car to hook with the limiters and couldn't get it to stay off the bumper without them!!! I'm gonna try a progressive this time and play with that and see what I can do, gonna start off small and get used to the car again and then bump back up to a 300 shot and get it dialed in, later on when I have enough money to build a new motor i'm gonna bump her up to 400, I have friends doing it, so i'll give it a try, but if something happens I wanna be ready to build an lsx blocked motor to have fun with. I'd love to see an 8.9999999999 on the 300, that'd be sweet as ****, but if it doesn't happen I won't be any kind of disappointed with 9.1's - 9.3's consistantly and safe!

Right now I just want a clean pass with both stages 200, then 150. If that doesn't get me a 9.30 then I'll try 200 and 200.

I want the stock cube record first and then I'll set my sights on the 8.99999 But I'm like you, I wanna have another motor ready just in case something happens, I am not a happy person when my car is down.

Tell me about it, my car was just down for a little over a year b/c I was trying to get myself settled into a new career and couldn't afford **** and it felt like the longest time of my life and I was not happy at all and probably a big grump!!!! God it feels good to be able to drive and race my car again, should be gettin the spray back on soon, it's running really well on motor though, got to the local 1/8th mile track and it's dead out the hole on motor even worse than before, bogging to nothing better than a 1.75 60' and 7.2's, but went 101 mph in the dead heat and humidity of south florida summer!!! Our local 1/4 mile track is closed down and I don't wanna waste $200 in gas to go to the next closest one when i'm trying to put the money together for the nitrous kit, so I won't have 1/4 times till the spray is back on, but from how she's pullin up top now with the new intake and what she ran on motor before, I think she'll see around 130 on motor which would be sweet!

Good luck on that stock cube record dude, that'd be a hell of a feat in itself!!!

Will do for sure! Should have the money together soon for the new spray kit, I don't really like direct ports cuz they're a big clutter, so Nitro Dave is gonna build a spray bar kit in my intake so I can be sure i'm gonna get even distribution from the kit, don't wanna chance a distribution problem ****** up my motor again (was spraying 300 from a wet kit before the throttle body on my fast 90 setup before, worked for a while till I stopped running it super fat at 10.0 a/f and tried to squeeze some more out of it and went to 11.0 or so and got a distribution problem taking out 2 plugs and beating the hell out of the pistons like someone took an icepick to 'em)!!!!

Yeah dude, it was great meetin ya that time you were down here! I work my *** off as well and my dad thinks it's cool what I do (he's not into racing, but is into muscle cars), but can't really help as he unexpectedly had another kid 5 years ago and my step mom has a 7 year old from the first marriage, so he's pretty much startin over again and has crazy amounts of bills for the kids and stuff! And I lucked out that my woman grew up with her dad bein a grease monkey hot rod guy, so she's into it and doesn't give me **** about it so long as all the bills are paid of course!
