Yes, it will work, but i would avoid the bolts for the mains and stud it.

agreed! an arp studded 2 bolt is stronger than a stock 4 bolt bottom end. you could also splay the bottom end for even more strength.

I wouldnt say that, a 350 no, a 400...yes. Splayed is the way to go for all out max effort for the block.

i ran that blower before its a decent little huffer. if you want you can machine a 2 bolt to be a 4 bolt. i have found its actually a bit stronger that a factory 4 bolt...i think eagle makes the main cap kits. if you go that route you should see your 450 horsepower and then some with NO issue

It ought to be just fine. Back in the day I ran a B&M 144 on a flat top 350 with old double hump heads,2 bolt main & if I remember correctly it had a Comp 292H cam in it.

Point being it was nothing special & would run 10.80-10.90's all day with a 80 shot of nitrous. Keep in mind these numbers were like 17 years ago,so it was a QUICK little street car. As a matter of fact the nitrous kit was a "Cheetah" system...NOT an NOS "Cheater". It was a no name brand system that I borrowed from a friend & only had the 80 shot jets! Gives you an idea of how long ago it was! Who sprays an 80 shot nowadays!
