Question Towing capacity of 58 sbc truck?

Sorry if this is a little off topic but I figured this was the best place to ask.

I am looking at a 58 chevy apache with a 350 sbc. The owner says he installed a performance carb and some headers with custom exhausts out the side. It has a manual four on the floor for a tranny.

About how much would this setup be able to tow? And what would be the weakest links?

thanks in advance

Brakes and suspension if it is still stock. When you tow, it is one thing to go, another thing altogether to stop...

Yeah, unfortunately I will have to pass this one up.

I'm sure it could pull alot of weight with ease but it would not be the strongest setup once moving. The suspension and brakes are kinda scary. I think the GVWR was only 5000 lbs.
