sbc 355 motor build suggestions
hello,
well, i bought an s10 with a 355. ive been tinkering with it for a while. the motor is a solid roller. the motor has fully forged internals. and is built for a 200 shot. so i was told.
carb: holley 750 dp, needs rebuild
intake: rpm airgap
heads: stock port 333882.....74-80...350/400......76cc chambers
cam spec: unknown
lifters: make unknown, 1.6 ratio
i recently blew the rear main seal, so i need to pull the motor. when i pull the motor i want to change out the heads and cam and possibly the intake. My purpose for the motor is strictly race. I will run a 150 shot.
I have my mind set on afr 195's. i still want to run a solid roller. Im looking for advice and suggestions on what cam to run. How much lift? Should i change the intake? I want to make 550 hp on nitrous. and dont want to change the internals.
thanks,
justin
