Best cam for power Hi all
I'm currently working on a built 454 engine. But wonder if I should switch my cam for a bigger one. It's a comp 244/244 0.550.
Pistons are dome with -22.00 cc & heads will be AFR 325.
Edlebrock 454-R intake
Holly 4160-hp 750 cfm carb.
Should I get bigger cam? what compression ration will I be getting?

if you're running compression around 10:1 then yeah you could get away with more cam. you may need a bigger carb though. and make sure you check your piston to valve clearance because you're starting to get up there in lift.
