most expensive 3rd gen EVER!!

IMO Barret Jackson had wrecked buying just about any earlier cars. I think now prices are coming down on 50's and 60s cars, but damn we had to wait for a recession before seeing decent rollers under $5k?
Yeah I'm pissed about third gens in that regard. Oh the 350 makes too much torque for the T5! So fix your ****, I want a treefitty and row my own. If I ever own another third gen that car is getting a swap.
Why are decent bodied third gens over $4k anyway? They built **** tons of them.

Believe it or not, there was an ultra rare 4speed manual 5.0 that put down almost the exact numbers of the 5.7.... I think like 300 were made or something...don't ask me to find the media......im too damn lazy.

Again, it was a very rare option and put down 10hp less then the 350 and the same torque thereabouts... I guess I have to look it up now...
* Note been trying to find the reference for an hour now..... I discovered that fact when I had 2 3rd gen Camaros and was doing research on them...again extremely rare, and only available for one year, I thought 87 or 88.... I'm going to keep looking, just like that damn California Iroc that 3 or 4 were produced and apparently zero still exist even though I saw one on Ebay a few years back.... Oh well back to looking...*
**Another note I give up. This is like when I saw the 97 LT1 Vette on Barret Jackson...they aren't supposed to exist but do... I think the original explanation I read was one of the plants had a short in the M5 so took the M4 from the V6 and put it in the 305. But Theirs only literally a handful, just a useless piece of information anyways as I wouldn't believe someone had an m4 Iroc unless it had all the paperwork for it.... funny thing is, I believe this was at one time on the wiki, but its not their anymore....and it was on the wiki for years....oh well....**

The last 4 speed camaro was in 83 . T5 was phased in there after . The 350 didn't get it's 245 hp rating until 90 . 87 was 220 hp , 88 was 230 and 89 was 240 . The HO 305 hp changed a few times from 84-86 and if I remember right 205hp was the highest . From 88-92 the 5-speed only TPI was within 5-10 hp of the 350 due to a different cam in the manual cars . There wasn't any super rare higher output 305 with a 4 speed after 83 . The only really super rare combo in that era would be the very few 86 350 tpi irocs that made it out at the tail end of the year .
