Default 6.6L in third gen possible ?

I heard friend talk about some guy own a third gen and having 6.6L trans am engine ? its possible ?

There is a guy at HRP that runs a 3rd gen with a 455 Olds in it. Not street legal but can be done. Depends on the 6.6! Olds or Pontiac. Neither made a "big block". There were short decks and tall decks. Basically 265-301 Pontiacs were short decks, all others were tall decks. Same bore spacing. As is the Olds, 350-403 was a short deck, 455 is a tall deck. All Olds had the same bore spacing.
