What did you do with the egr setup? Did you do away with it and blocked it off on the intake and you are going to delete it out the pcm or are you going to plumb it into the headers?

I did that same swap in an 04, I bought a marine itake with out all the emssions crap. now I wish i still had it, you know you can convert those vortec 454 to run coil per cylinder. you can also run them off a ls1 pcm

Man, that would be nice to be able to convert all Big blocks to run off coil plugs and an ls1 or lscx pcm... hmm. Cool to hear the vortech can

Do you have more info. on the coil on plug and ls1 pcm?
I am putting a FI 509 in a 70 chevelle and want run a coil on plug setup with a factory ECM.

I did away with all of the emissions crap!

There is a writeup on FSC, I'll look for it for you. The L19 (454 found in medium duty trucks) had a coil on plug setup stock.

but i cannot deny my bbc roots.
the bbc i want to build starts with a real block like a dart topped with real heads and intake from cfe.
but i may never be able to pay for any of that.
so i stick to turbo lsx. next best thing imo

I was thinking about making a twin turbo kit for the 98-02 F-Bodies but I'm thinking things over. I'm not sure if I want to build something for the 98-02 F-Body or the New Camaros. Either way I wasn't thinking about making cast iron manifolds. I'm thinking steel (black) pipe would be best. It's easy to work with, cheaper and damn near bulletproof.
