Help With Head Choice
but saying a comp 292 camshaft doesnt give enough info... you can get a couple of different comp 292 cams. is it a hydraulic or solid? which grind? comp has about 5 different grinds of camshafts.
Car Craft did a untouched vortec headed build and made 440 hp with a comp extreme energy grind. Here is the link.

so i should be making around the same power at the crank?
the motor in the s10 has o miles besides what i put on it coming home he said it should be making around 360-370hp im wondering if i put my 292h cam and vortec heads on it what kind of power id be making then? im using this motor for a street car im looking to get as close to 400 RWHP as possible

Also have the performer rpm airgap intake with arp polished stainless bolts both are only 3 weeks old. Need 600 for heads and intake and bolts together. Intake runners are ported and are gasket matched to heads.
