Putting new heads on my 383 and was thinking of going to this cam. How would the drivabilty be? 68 camaro 3200lbs, T56 trans and 3:73 12 bolt.
Engine combo.
383 10.8 CR
AFR 210 el
Dr. J ported air gap
Pro systems custom carb
1 3/4 headers, 3"x, 3" borla xr-1
Full MSD ignition
I have manual brakes too. This is a weekend toy. Just looking for a hot street setup.
With the added CI's where would my power band be?

No It's not too big for a 383, my 383 is almost exactly like yours and has a ton of torque. The cam I have is almost identical from Comp and is still in my engine. The 3450lb car ran 10.82@127mph on it's second outing untuned on the stock EFI pcm, so now I decided to go with a Fast engine management and turn 7400rpms and I would like to sell it if you are interested.. the duration250 is 248/254 110L/S, 670lift on both, it's the best cam fior peak power under7krpms but since I would like to turn 7400rpms, I want to add 10degress of duration to it and maybe closer to 700lift. LMK if youre interested. later
