how much power will this combo make? Hey guys i have a 4 main 350 bored .030, 383 stroker kit with eagle crank, eagle rods, and keith black -18cc dish pistons, 64cc edelbrock performance rpm heads with some porting, i estimate 9.7-9.8:1 compression since the heads have been milled down a bit. 1.6rr arms The cam is a comp cam #12-224-4 248/248 @.050 .525 lift (in/ex) lsa 110 Solid flat tappet. Edelbrock Victor Jr. and a 750cfm proform double pumper and a 2" super sucker spacer, magnetic pick up msd distributor and msd 6 digital. and long tube 1 5/8th headers
I am wondering how much hp this combo will make. It is going in a '73 firebird with 4.56 gears, turbo 350 and ~4500 stall converter. The car has gone mid 12s with a basic 383 with stock iron heads, perormance rpm intake little cam and same carb and drivetrain

i had very close to the same setup on my 83 z28 just with less of a dish piston. i squeezed 525 out of it with 10.6-1 compression. once you get up there the heads are what get restrictive. if you still have the ability i'd agree with them and say go with some more domed pistons.
