freakin' truck wont start

Default freakin' truck wont start

truck died the other day and would not start. checked fuel pump, and fuel is flowing to carb. checked carb and jets are spraying as they should... truck turns over but just wont crank!!!!!!! thinking something with timing.... any other issues i need to look at?????

355sb, bored, balanced, dyno tested....

ran fine but then died....

pulled number 1 wire and not getting spark?

HEI? Module gone bad, rotor gone bad (happens on HEI), coil gone bad. Most auto parts caan check the module.

Check the hot wire to the distributor, I've had this connection fail on me before. I've also had coils fail. I have spare distributors sitting around so I'm pretty lazy at troubleshooting, I just stick another one in and rule it out.
