Default Starting problems

Hey guys,
Haven't posted in a while. Finally got my motor back up and running. I'm having a little issue starting though. If the motor is dead cold (overnight), it'll start right up no problem. If I drive it and get it warmed up, shut it off then start it within a few minutes, it'll start no problems again. The problem is when I let it sit for an hour or 2...I'll come outta the gym and it'll just keep turning over. I have to floor the gas, and it will finally fire up with a puff of smoke out the back (from flooring the gas obviously). Any reasons why this is happening?

Thanks!

Sound like the carb leaks gas into the motor while sitting there and floods it out.Try checking your float levels.
