almost 11's with un-ported vortec's
Still got some bugs to work out in the suspension... And my tach died but pretty pleased in all. Had to get some base lines before i switched to e85 and throw the bottle in the car.
car is a 1970 nova
355 W/ 10.2: compression.... iron vortec heads with a good valve job, and a crane flat tapped cam. 238/246... .490/.495 on a 112. with some pro mag 1.52's
Trans is a th400 with a tight tci 3800 NO2 converter bolt on steal d/s
12 bolt w4.10's running M/T 275/60-15's et radials
Car made 320/306 on the dyno through exhaust. I had it uncapped at the track
well best of the night was
60ft...1.863
330....5.101
1/8....7.807 @90.60mph
1000ft..10.126
1/4....12.177 @112.42
I ran a few 12.2X's (my 1st run right out of tech was a 12.24) and was told the da was 3500ft
couldnt hammer it out of the hole had to roll out, I tried a few times and just blew the tires off.
Not bad for a basic setup.
