Default Great build!!

Just want to say this is an awesome build man! You do a great job with descriptions and pictures of the progress. I am finishing up a build on a 72 c10 but once that's done, plan on starting a fox build with a 383 on the juice. Really liking that rear setup you got, keep it up and don't give up on that old sbc!

Yah I know. most would scrap a car and find another. im not looking forward to it.

ok some new updates.

There are a few changes. **** a cage, returned the comp engineering cage cause it wouldnt clear the ac box at all, and i didnt want to try to make it fit. the wolfe racecraft cage would require me to cut out the subframe connectors out so i could lower the cage to weld the top. so thats a no go. gunna do a lot of re-wiring and address a few things i would of done different, gunna do that while the interior is out. and of course fix the natural weigh reduction on the drivers side door hinge area while its all apart. got some new shoes for the car, no more "polished" Cobra wheels. I traded them for some 17/9 and 17/6.5 chrome Pony-R wheels. Ill post some pics up later of the wheels.

Nice wheels there man, not bad at all.

Waiting in the weather to get right so I can start pulling the 4.8 from the 94 gmc and start the 4.8/t56 swap into the 92 s10.

Mustang is waiting on a Trans still.

Got me some Wilwood 4 piston calipers, I traded my Cobra calipers for them.

Had to do some widdelin on the spindle to get them to fit

Unfortunately I have to run wheel spacers to run these gigantic calipers with my wheels

They barely clear, I might have to get thicker spacers just in case stuff flexes under a load

They clear though

Damn! That looks damn good.

How is the patch panel coming along? Seems like one hell of a place for rot repair. Good luck to you.

I'm messing with this damn s10, if not I would have built a 4L80 for the coupe and it wouldn't be sitting in the garage without a Trans.

Oh im not doing it, Sean Allenburg is. I ported a set once, the intakes turned out pretty good but i broke through on the exhaust on some cast iron heads, so its not for me. Sean has been widdlin on heads for years and is pretty damn good at what he does. He has been wanting to work on these for years, so i figured this was the right time to have him hog on them for a while.

i ordered those directly from Wolfe Racecraft and highly recommend them.

I had Chris Neighbors make the brake pad spacers to compensate for incorrectly ordered calipers i was not informed about. This should make up the difference and they fit perfect.
