better cam ideas? I'm looking to put a bit more efficient cam in my setup. Not exactly sure on the specs of the cam installed now as it came in the motor. It's pretty much a standard 358 build nothing extreme. 9.x:1 compression. iron 882 heads. single plane intake, 650 carb. th350. it has a good shot of gas on it now (175) and does okay but i know there has to be a more nitrous specific cam nowadays. Would a nitrous specific cam even be worth the investment seeing as I'm still running what most consider a very restricted head? If it would help pick me drop some ET, what would good cam choices be?
What single plane intake do you have? I have always preferred a single plan like an old Team G or similar over any dual plane. But I'm mostly strip. The 882 have been known to crack. My first build used some 882heads, they held up well, but I never threw any nitrous at them.
