I'm doing a SBC swap on my 89 mustang w/AJE K member, AJE motor mounts, custom tranny crossmember and stock control arms. I was trying use the stock chevy manifold for now til i get some good headers. but they seem to hit the firewall on the passenger side and hits the steering shaft on the driver side. I saw some SBC shorty huggers new for $70.99 on ebay. Does anyone think that these will clear my issue on both sides for now? Or what other headers would would work with very little to no modification done to them? I want this for now cuz my actual build will be a 6.0 swap but i'll be putting all my money on that one and using the sbc til it gives up on me.

I found a set of brand new hooker 2451HKR w/bolts and gasket in exchange for my old busted ford T5. haven't tried but looks like these will fit with little modifcation.
