Default 88 mustang sbc 355 electric fans problems

need help my wires conected to the fuse box burned a lil and now my electric fans wont turn on witch are operated by on and off switch

Run a hot wire to them, and put a 40 amp relay to that. Then ground the fans. Then you can use a switch that only activates the relay. It is safer. Mote work but it is the right way to do it.

i was getting the power from ac since it is out the car had it on the fused to relay then the cables coming of of the fuse box burnt so im guessing i need to find another source maybe straight to battery? or could i do it on the alternator

main source should b a battery source, the switched part can be what ever 12v switched source you want.
