Default TOTAL NOOB TBI BBC ??'s

Hi all, I know this is an LS tech site, but I come with a few questions on non LS engine territory. Why? Because you guys are smart as hell TO sum it up, I have big plans for an LS engine swap spinning some decent chargers in the near future, but for the fuel mileage I'm already getting, I want some more power. It is a 1992 3500 454. I know the heads are a big limiting factor, But have any of you guys screwed around with just a cam/springs/intake with a TBI Big Block?

1. If I want to keep stock heads what are my best options?

2. Anybody have issues with doing these things to a stock TBI engine?

ANY Opinions are sincerely appreciated, and please be halfway forgiving

btw feel free to bump...I wasnt sure where to post.

THANK YOU GUYS

I put one into an 87 chev 4x4. torquey but so gutless, and limited. you're better off getting a decent street cam and one of those bolt on 4 barrel fual injection system.

seriously with the stock TBI the rush is over around 3000 rpm. they're 230 hp, 385 tq.
