Default Budget 350 build, surprising results

A while back I decided to do a budget rebuild on my truck after loaning it to someone who burned up the clutch. The truck in question is a 1994 chevy ECSB that had already received a vortec 350, edelbrock efi and a 6 speed with roughly 12k miles. The bottom end checked out good in the leak down/visual inspection. I went on the hunt for some heads, I wound up with some 190cc cast iron procomps (don't hate). Assembled them myself with 2.02/1.60 stainless valves, positive seals, and double springs matched to my cam. I went with the LT4 hot cam since it's a proven performer and topped it off with a procomp air gap style intake and 650 quick fuel. The results were 320rwhp and 376rwtq with the cut out open. That's around 375-380 at the flywheel with enough vacuum for the power brakes and excellent street manners for a minimal amount of cash!

My 4.8 with stock heads and a small 220/220 cam and .510 lift made 312 rwhp.

You got me by 70 ftlbs. But my 3000 pounds will make up for that. Lol
