87 350 carb camaro Trying to figure out what's going on. Background on motor/trans/rear setup
350 stock 8.7 to1
Trickflow 195's .028 HG
Comp 280h magnum cam
1.6 comp full roller rockers
Holley 600 hp
Msd full ignition 6al-2 box
Auto lite plugs
Th350 2800 stall 9in summit special
4.10 gears 28 in tall tire
Car hesitates almost to stall on hard launch
Car ran 12.68 @110 with a 2.05 60ft due to the hesitation not spinning
Tried couple different squirts and have timing set at 30 with a tight curve to 38 all In by 3500 RPMs. Would a crappy convertor cause this? I have a hard time setting an idle due to the rpm drop of close to 500 RPMs in gear. So if I set idle in park at 900/1000 in gear it I'm at 500/600. I feel like zero flash to this convertor also
