Donovan HC700 build
I've picked up a 'seasoned' HC700 block, 5.3 crank, BRE rods and a few other bits and pieces. It's an 11.1-inch deck height, so made 706cu back in the day. I want to put together a street motor. What I've read so far suggests I need to be careful about specifying heads and pistons. I'm also wondering if I can use standard casting heads or will have to go for Big Chief style heads. And if I go for the more expensive heads, what degree heads do I need?
I've got loads more questions, so where's the best source of information?
Cheers guys

I would go for a 14 degree cfe 5.3 bs style head. At this level of a build there should be no reason to compromise it to some production cast bbc head. Shoot me over some specs of this build and ill do what i can to point you in the right direction.

I assume this engine is 4.6" bore and standard bore spacing? For a street motor a big set of conventional heads will work. AFR 385s come to mind. Dart makes a 11.1 tall deck also. They can sell you an intake. You could easily build a 1000hp engine with shelf components. Have fun!!!
